Bulletin Excerpts February 12, 2012 9:15 AM CALL TO WORSHIP: L: Let us see God at the beginning of this day. C: May we face its hours with eagerness. L: We bring our prayers in time of gladness C: We pour out our joy. L: God surrounds us with steadfast love. C: He touches our lives with new possibilities. ALL: We look to God for renewed courage to go where we are sent. Invocation: O God, make yourself known to us as You did to the prophets of old. Keep us from arrogance or self-seeking that builds barriers against Your Word. Keep us from supposing that we can teach others when we have ignored Your directions. Help us to listen, and to respond according to Your purposes revealed in Jesus. We pray the prayer which You and Your Son, Jesus Christ has taught us to pray, Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.
